Why aren t washers and dryers a standard height like dishwashers. All laundry rooms are designed differently and while you might be coveting a new large capacity washer your laundry room layout may only have room for a set of stackable or compact washers and dyers. I am so irritated. The height needs to be 34 1 4 to fit below a 36 counter. There may be a blomberg compact as well. I have a piece of countertop that floats on top of them and gives me a nice big surface.
